Hmmm...

Last spring, I figured out that I could technically graduate spring 2006, because I had about 45 credits left, most of which were in theatre arts (my minor). I haven't actually declared my minor yet, but I've been thinking about not going through with it because I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I started looking at the schedules and things today, and now I'm pretty positive I'm going to. If I only do my anth/social studies major, I only have five more classes! I could graduate in two quarters if they're all offered (unlikely), or take three quarters and jam in all the other things I wanted to do while here, like dance or windsailing. I could also take more anth electives, like 456, War and Human Rights. I would have to take about ten more theatre classes (with 2 or 3 credits) and do ridiculous things like crew a production for one credit (leaving little time to work, due to rehearsals), stage manage a show, direct a show, etc. I just don't have time to do all that! Nor would I enjoy it, I don't have the right personality. I figure I can always go back to school after I'm teaching if I decide to take on another endorsement. This means I won't be able to steal Ms. Cole's job, but right now it just doesn't seem worth the hassle. So, yay. That's a big pressure off of my back, and I'll actually be able to enjoy the rest of my education. Pre-graduate school, at least. Being able to take less classes means more free time to do homework and tutor so I can actually get into Woodring.

By the way, we're having another party this Friday, because it is Tony's 21st birthday. Alaina, a friend of mine and Robin's, just turned twenty one recently and is coming up for the weekend as well. E'erbody is invited! We're running low on the drink, though, so please contribute. Kristina, you should come up too, since you didn't make it last time. You can stay with us, or Katharine (I'm sure she woulnd't mind!)

Hmm . . . the problem is I've made plans with Alex for him to come up and I don't know if there is anyone willing to house two people. Otherwise I would come but with Alex coming up I don't know if it is possible.

I hereby nominate Dustin to put up Alex! I'm sure he wouldn't mind (he has three couches and lives nextdoor), and it would be awesome if both of you could come. I'll ask him, but I'm sure he'll say yes. I would have already invited Alex, but I didn't think he'd want to drive so far. But if he's already going to be at your house....

If Dustin's fine with that I will definately tell Alex about it and try to convince him to go.

Dustin's response: "Yeah, of course Alex can stay with me. And he can fix his damn server too."

Cool, fixing his server was one of the reasons he wanted to come so we'll be up there friday. What time does it start and will there be a couch and a blanket for each of us to sleep on or do we need to bring a sleeping bag?

Um... you might want to bring a sleeping bag. I have blankets at my house, but I don't think Dustin has any. There's no official start time, I don't know when everyone else is showing up or anything.

Ok well then I will tell alex to pack a sleeping bag and I'll bring one along too just since that seems easier. Alex won't be at my house until around 5 which is when I get home from work so we probably won't leave until 7. That would mean we'd get there around 8:30. As long as that works that is our plan, if you get a more specific time you'd like people to come just tell me and we will try to adjust to it. Oh and I also need your address so I can get driving instructions. You can email it to me at chaya85@hotmail.com
